TFP Ending Speech

This two-minute farewell speech is from the conclusion of the Transformers Prime animated series, in which Optimus Prime addresses his crew and encourages them to carry on, before rejoining with the Well of All Sparks and saving Cybertron.

I was asked to create some basic movements to accompany this audio for a public demonstration. However, as Peter Cullen would be present, the life-long voice actor of Optimus Prime, I wanted to impress him as much as he had impressed me with this very speech. I devoted a total of 22 hours to animating and synschonising every motion to the audio, using a video editor to check how many tenths of a second the timing needed adjustment, as the programming software does not express the speed of motions in seconds. This is the result of that effort. However, this reenactment would not be as impressive without the great voice acting and writing of the Transformers Prime series.
