Sit Down for Shutdown

A common complaint about Robosen's Optimus Prime is that the robot goes limp when powered off, offering no stable poses for display. That is why I have designed this Action: Activate it and Optimus moves into a sitting pose that remains stable when you turn the power off. If you do not turn him off, Optimus will calmly stand up again after 8 seconds. You can also cancel the sitting pose by briefly pressing the power button.

The download includes two versions: "Sit Up" makes Optimus sit up straight, and "Sit Down" has him lay back more casually, with outstretched legs.

Both movements were a challenge to program due to the robot's center of gravity and the limited range of the joints, but the end result is designed for maximum stability and safety. Installing the Action is easy, instructions are included.

Separate versions for Elite and Flagship Optimus Prime are included in the download. The Flagship version has a slightly different way of getting back up by arching its back more, because its center of gravity is different from the Elite.
Mind to close the charging port panel and remove weapons before activating any Actions.

30 day warranty on performance

While much effort has been put in the stability of the actions, there is always a possibility that an Action - including Robosen's own - leads to a fall, due to small differences in servo calibration and condition. Should the robot fall 9 out of 10 times even on a smooth and level surface like hardwood, please send a video of the accident, viewed from the side of the robot. If the problem is not due to external factors like using the robot on carpet, I will adjust the Action for you or refund your purchase.
